Upstate NY Tourism Ad

(written in reponse to my relocation to NY)

Upstate New York I could eat with a fork
  (I'm told the fauna can sometimes be scrupmtious)!
From the burbling streams to the mountains of dreams,
  the landscape is really quite luscious!

And with each season change being pleasantly strange,
  the autumn is enough to make trees blush.
Even winter is grand, plopping snow on the land,
  then the spring swells the rivers with slush.

Although somewhat remote,
  and to some quite a joke,
  I must say it appeals.
In contrast to DC
  the difference is easy...
  THERE'S NO SCREACHING OF WHEELS!

For me there's little amiss in this paradise bliss,
  the friendly surroundings are rather exquisite.
See this as an invite to all friends and family,
  there is free lodging if you want to come visit.
